Nine Months Old

Adrienne turned nine months old yesterday!  I don't know why, but this one seems like a big one to us. Adrienne changes so much every day now and we can't believe how much she has grown! She is crawling all over the house and has started to pull herself up on furniture.  A few weeks ago Josh came into her bedroom and saw her in her crib like this.....

...and we knew it was time to lower the crib and baby proof the house! Since then, she has been a little machine moving everywhere! Below is a video from one of the first days she was "officially" crawling. 

It has been a fun month and we are all excited to celebrate Adrienne's first Thanksgiving soon!  Here are a bunch of pictures/videos from Adrienne's ninth month!♥

We visited Auntie Sarah for her 30th birthday. Adrienne had a fun time with her cousin Henry.

Eight Months Old

Adrienne turned eight months old last Wednesday!

It was a busy month and we are loving watching Adrienne experience her first Fall.  

Adrienne visited two different apple orchards.  She was more interested in the leaves than the apples.

Halloween is next week, but Adrienne got dressed up for the "Sleepy Howell" festival. Bruce got to try on the costume too!...

Seven Months Old

It's that time again, another month has flown by and Adrienne is seven months old tomorrow! Things have gotten pretty busy around here with both of us working now.  It sure was a lot easier throughout the summer, and we are still trying to figure out the best "work-life balance" to make things run smoothly around here.

The best news is that daycare has been going great! We are so blessed to have found a wonderful place for Adrienne to go every day.  When I pick her up she is usually happily jumping in her bouncer or playing with the other kids.  I am sure she is going to become great friends with her daycare buddies!  Below is a video of her on the first day of daycare in the bouncer.  I love that I get photo and video updates every once in a while from the daycare to see what Adrienne is up to.

This month Adrienne tried a lot of new foods.  So far she has had oatmeal, sweet potatoes, pears, pear juice, prunes, green beans, and avocado.  She hasn't really liked any of it except the pears.  She likes to hold the spoon herself which results in a messy meal time and adorable pictures. 

Labor Day weekend we were able to spend some time up in Cadillac.  Adrienne got to hang out with her cousin along with her aunts and uncles and Grandma and Boppa.  They put up the baby swing for her on the patio and she enjoyed lots of outside time.

Can you believe Adrienne and Henry are five months apart!?

About a week ago, Adrienne's first teeth poked through.  Her bottom two middle ones came through on the same night (it was a looooong night for all of us). If you zoom way in on the picture below you can see her pearly whites!
